We opened our first Dune store on the desirable Kings Road London in 1993. Over the years we have grown to over 44 standalone stores and 163 concessions in the UK and Ireland, including the Shoe Galleries in Selfridges London. You can find our flagship stores in London’s Covent Garden, Westfield Shopping Centre and Glasgow’s Buchanan Street. More recently we have opened our doors in One New Change shopping centre overlooking St Pauls, with a brand new concept design and state of the art finishes.

We are very excited about offering the Dune brand on the international stage with stores in over 13 countries worldwide (predominantly within the Middle East). Our international business continues to expand with ambitious plans to move into new and exciting destinations.

Dune is part of The Dune Group which was formed in March 2009 with the acquisition by Dune of Shoe Studio, which now houses Bertie, Pied a Terre, Chelsea Cobbler and the online footwear website Shoestudio.com.

Dune was founded in 1992 by our Chairman, Daniel Rubin, whose family have been in the footwear business for four generations. His father owned a ladies fashion shoe factory , his grandfather arrived in London from Lithuania at the end of the 19th century and opened a small shoe factory and his great grandfather was a cobbler in the back streets of Vilnius. Shoes are in our blood!

Ever since we first opened in London we have been 100% focussed on designing fantastic footwear that has a real point of difference. Our design team scour the fashion capitals of the world to find original, exciting shoes. And once we have great designs we study every detail of the shoe to make sure its special, fits beautifully, and looks great.
